Roscrea Lions Recycle for Sight

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Roscrea and surrounding areas, 777 pairs of spectacles have been collected and will give the gift of sight and a new lease of life to many people around the world. Our sincere thanks to the pharmacies, churches, schools, Age Friendly and opticians for their support with this project and for enriching the lives of many.

They are then shipped to eye clinics in Africa, Asia, South America and Europe where they will restore sight to the visually impaired.
