The 10k run was the second one of its type for Roscrea Lions Club, replacing the Charity Walk of past years. The funds raised will go to local community projects. The Roscrea 10k Run is partnered by Run Ireland.
This year, Roscrea Lions have added a 5k run to the calendar which will be run on the same day.
All races begin and end at the same locations; they just follow different routes.
They begin near the area of the church within the grounds of Mount Saint Joseph Cistercian Monastery. They finish at the entrance to Roscrea Rugby Club.
The run took place on Saturday, 11th October 2014 commencing at 11.30 a.m.
