The Roscrea Lions Club “Light it Up Gold” Charity Walk proved to be a resounding success. The walk was held last Saturday Sept 7th 2024 in the grounds of Cistercian College Roscrea. The weather was perfect and the route and beautiful scenery enjoyed by all.
Lions Club Roscrea would like to sincerely thank all the people who came to support us by taking part in the walk and by generously donating. We raised around €4,000 for Childhood Cancer Ireland.
We would also like to say a sincere and heartfelt thank you to all in CCR for providing such a wonderful safe walking space and who stewarded the routes and provided refreshments.
