Last week, Roscrea Shopping Centre came alive for a fun-filled Trunk or Treat event, bringing families and the local community together for a Halloween celebration with a difference.
Organised by Autism Awareness Roscrea, the event was designed as a sensory-friendly experience, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment where children and families could enjoy Halloween at their own pace.
With creatively decorated cars, costumes and plenty of treats, there was a great atmosphere throughout. The sensory-friendly approach helped ensure that children with different needs could take part comfortably and enjoy the occasion alongside their families and friends.
The Lions Club Team had great fun with their “Wizard of Oz” theme, expertly decorated with the help of our President Mairead Ramsbottom aka “Tin Woman” and her family 🎃
